ICC: | The ICC is a certified level of competency required when operating a pleasure craft in most European Coastal or Inland waterways. It is regulated under UN ITC Resolution 14 and later 40. Although it is valid in any country that signed the agreement, many other countries also require this certificate. VHF : | You will need a VHF licence for any skipper licence (Flotilla Skipper and higher). If you don't have a valid VHF licence then you can complete the course during your skipper training |
Bareboat Skipper: | Competence for chartering a boat with restrictions. Limitations: a vessel up to a maximum length of 78 ft /24 metres in coastal waters up to 20 miles offshore in daylight hours and in fair conditions. |
Yachtmaster Coastal: | The IYT Worldwide Yachtmaster Coastal certificate is a recreational certificate of competency for sailing and power vessels. Limitations: command of a vessel up to a maximum length of 78 ft /24 metres in coastal waters up to 60 miles offshore. |
Yachtmaster Offshore: | The IYT Worldwide Yachtmaster Offshore certificate is a recreational certificate of competency for sailing and power vessels. Limitations: command of a vessel up to 200GT up to 150 miles offshore. |
